Job Description:

The Program Assistant is a vital part of the Residential College. These students work closely with the faculty members and residence life staff to implement community development events geared toward the Residential College community. PA’s live on the same floor with the residents of the Residential College. It is anticipated that program planning and meeting attendance will be 20 hours per week.

Preferred qualifications:

• 1 year of group living experience at time of application
• Solid communication and strong interpersonal skills
• Excellent organizational ability
• Highly personable
• Leadership experience
• Ability to serve as a positive role model

Required qualifications:

• Enrolled as a student at Boise State University
• Minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5
• Earned a minimum of 12 credits at an accredited University at time of application
• Must be in good standing with the University and University Housing
• Must attend all training sessions throughout the academic year
Remuneration:

The Program Assistant will receive a single room and a meal plan. The total value of the Program Assistant contract for the academic year is anticipated to be approximately $6,300.
