What is the College of Business & Economics Residential College?

The College of Business and Economics (COBE) Residential College is an integrated living and learning opportunity for motivated students in business and commerce. Residents participate in a variety of social, cultural, academic and service activities; develop a supportive network of friends, faculty, and future colleagues; and collaboratively plan and lead projects that enhance their classroom learning. Residents interact with a live-in faculty member and participate in a two-credit course.

Why should I participate?

This unique living situation provides a number of opportunities you might not otherwise have. COBE Residential College Residents enjoy belonging to a group with similar interests; they became more involved in on-campus activities; they formed study groups to help each other with challenging classes; they are able to network with faculty and business leaders in informal settings; and they gain excellent experiences to add to their resumes.

Who is facilitating?

Dr. Zeynep K. Hansen is the faculty-in-residence for the College of Business and Economics Residential College community. Dr. Hansen joined the department of economics within the College of Business and Economics at Boise State University in 2007.

Where will I live?
