What is the Engineering Residential College?

The Engineering Residential College is a living community for those interested in technical disciplines. The focus of the Engineering Residential College is on academic success with the primary activities centered on academic support. Formal academic activities will include math, chemistry, and physics tutoring. Advising sessions will be offered in the community in addition to regular faculty office hours. Residents will also participate in weekly community meals.

Why should I participate?

Engineering Residential College participants benefit by regularly interacting with peers studying engineering, thus fostering an appreciation for and a better understanding of the interdisciplinary nature of technology. Seminars, discussions, social activities, and service projects will create opportunities to discover the role of engineering and the contributions of engineers in the greater community.

Who is facilitating?

Sondra Miller, Ph.D., P.E. is the faculty in residence for the Engineering Residential College.

Where will I live?

The Engineering Residential College is housed in Morrison Hall which is ideally situated for easy access to classrooms, campus recreational and athletic facilities, the Student Union Building, the Boise River Greenbelt and downtown Boise. It is important to apply in a timely manner as space is limited.
