Benefits

As a member of the Residential College, students have the chance to really get to know professors and develop strong friendships with your fellow students. Residents have access to many special resources, programs and activities, such as a special seminar for each RC community, lectures, study groups, and mentoring.   Keiser Hall even has classroom space very near most residence halls.

The greatest perk: joining your faculty for dinner in their apartments or walking their dogs!  J  While residents are unable to own pets, faculty is given special permission to do so, since most of them are tenured and have families that include pets.

You've spent your high school career preparing for this experience. But so much of what you learn will happen outside of the classroom. As a member of a Living-Learning Community, you'll have the support and the encouragement you need to learn about the most important subject of all—you.

  • Faculty connection
  • Network of students from similar interests
