Jeff Hale Executive Director (208) 447-1001 Jeff earned his EdD in Educational Leadership from West Virginia University. He also holds a Masters degree in Counseling Psychology from the University of Saint Francis and a Bachelor of Arts degree from Summit Christian College. He has over 25 years of professional experience ranging from work at small private to large public colleges and universities. Jeff's career has primarily focused on housing, residence life, and student conduct. As director, Jeff oversees all aspects of Boise States housing for students, summer conference and academic year guests, and the living-learning programs University Housing sponsors. In addition to his focus on campus living, Jeff also oversees the Office of Student Rights and Responsibilities, serves on the Student Affairs executive team, and assumes roles on a variety of other campus committees. Previous institutions where Jeff has held positions include Manchester College, University of Nebraska-Kearney (fka Kearney State College), University of Oklahoma, West Virginia University, and Oxford College of Emory University. |

Felice Otero Associate DIrector of University Housing (208) 447-1001 Felice earned her BS in Biology & Psychology from Carroll College in Wisconsin and her MA in Higher Education from Boston College. Her experience is primarily in housing and residence life, but has also worked with first year student programs, orientation and admissions/financial aid. Felice's primary role at Boise State includes direct oversight of the "life" part of on-campus living including residence life staff supervision, programmatic initiatives, conduct and policy & protocol development. Her eleven years in the field have included positions at Carthage College, Boston College, Simmons College and University of Massachusetts Dartmouth. |

Kevin Israel Assistant Director, Operations & Maintenance (208) 447-1001 Kevin earned his BS in Leisure Studies from Iowa State University and his M.S. in Higher Education also from Iowa State University. His experience in Higher Education covers 25 years and has ranged from the Student Recreation Program to Residence Life. His current work focuses on the custodial and maintenance issues of our 300 apartments and 9 residence halls. |

Kelly Weak Apartment & Guest Services Manager (208) 447-1002 Kelly earned his BS in Psychology from Montana State University and his M.S. in Instructional and Performance Technology from Boise State University. His experience in the past 9 years has been in residence life, student organizations, student leadership, and summer conferences. His current work focuses on summer guest housing, customer service, and providing a resource for students that desire off campus housing. Former institutions include Loras College, Notre Dame de Namur University, and Boise State University. |

Rebecca Young Business Manager (208) 447-1001 Rebecca earned her BS in Accounting from California State University, San Bernardino and her MBA from Boise State University. Her experience in the past 25 years has been as an accountant, predominantly in the private sector, for several local businesses. Her current work focuses on the business functions of University Housing, including continual process improvement. |

Melissa Wintrow Assistant Director for Residence Education (208) 447-1001 Melissa earned her BA in English from Miami University and her M.Ed. in Higher Education from the University of Georgia. Her experience in the past 20 years has ranged from residence life, academic advising, directing a women's center, and adjunct instruction (gender studies for the past 6 years). Her current work focuses on the development of living-learning communities, student learning outcomes and programmatic assessment, and connecting the missions of student and academic affairs. Former institutions include Eastern Michigan University, Michigan State University, and Portland State University. |
